Anna Hamati is a Senior Legal Sanctions Counsel/Senior Compliance Manager at eBay. Previously, she worked as a Counsel in Hughes Hubbard & Reed’s Washington D.C. office as a member of the firm’s sanctions, export controls and anti-money laundering practice group. Anna assisted clients with matters related to export controls and economic trade sanctions. Prior to joining Hughes Hubbard, Anna was a Senior Sanctions Policy Advisor at the US Department of the Treasury in the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Prior to that, she was an Assistant Vice President at Citibank in the global sanctions compliance and anti-money laundering units.
