Proven track record of building and directing high-impact programs that safeguard critical technologies, mitigate global risk, and align with evolving geopolitical and regulatory landscapes.

Currently serving as Senior Director – Global Trade at Caterpillar Inc., where he leads enterprise-wide strategy for export controls, sanctions, and national security compliance. He advises executive leadership on global risk, regulatory change, and enforcement trends, while driving operational excellence through automation, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration.

Previously, as Acting Director and Deputy Director of the Bureau of Industry and Security’s (BIS) Office of Export Enforcement (OEE) at the U.S. Department of Commerce, he oversaw criminal and administrative enforcement of U.S. export control laws governing over 32 million dual-use commodities valued at $173 billion annually. He led a nationwide investigative program across 30 U.S. cities, prioritizing efforts to detect and disrupt illicit procurement networks targeting sensitive and emerging technologies related to WMDs, military end-use, and terrorism.
